Since 2022, a community-based learning center in Jugiya, Kadamtala Sadar, Kushtia has been providing structured education and residential care for 145 young children across multiple grade levels. From the very beginning, the center has earned an excellent reputation for delivering quality education and maintaining a supportive learning environment for children.
The center currently operates from a rented building, but the landlord has issued a notice requiring it to vacate the premises by December 2025. This sudden displacement puts all students at risk of losing a stable and consistent learning environment.
The current facility also lacks adequate space for group activities and daily routines, making it challenging for children and staff to operate safely and comfortably.
To ensure long-term stability and to continue serving these children effectively, the center aims to acquire land and build a dedicated facility. The estimated cost for the land purchase is 35 lakh BDT.
